2. Cancellation Eligibility

We look at where your booking stands when the cancellation comes in:

  • Before confirmation: Cancel before the provider confirms your booking and you'll generally get a full refund.
  • After confirmation: Once a booking is confirmed, scheduled, or assigned — cancellation gets complicated. It may not be possible, or a partial deduction may apply.
  • After dispatch or partial service: If an ambulance is already on the way or service has started, the advance typically isn't refundable.
  • Subscriptions: Once your billing cycle starts, subscription fees don't come back — unless we explicitly said otherwise when you signed up.
Once a service is confirmed, scheduled, dispatched, or partially done — cancellation may no longer be an option. Check the status before you request one.

3. Refund Processing

When we approve a refund, here is how the timing works:

  • Our Processing: within48 hoursof approval.
  • When it hits your account: Depends entirely on your financial institution.
We process approved refunds within 48 hours. All refunds are credited back to the original payment source used at the time of the transaction.
After that, your bank takes over — and timelines vary by institution.

Helthcard connects you to services — it doesn not directly employ the doctors, labs, or ambulance operators you reach through it.

3. User Obligations

  • Give us accurate, complete information. Do not leave out details that affect your booking.
  • Do not submit fake, misleading, or fraudulent requests. Simple.
  • Do not abuse the platform — no duplicate bookings, no gaming the support system, no trying to skip payments.
  • Keep your login credentials to yourself. If something happens because you shared them, that's on you.
  • If you are booking for someone else, make sure you actually have their permission to share their details.

4. Service Availability

Submitting a booking doesn't guarantee it goes through. Everything is subject to operational confirmation on our end.

A successful payment doesn't mean the service is locked in — if validation or provider confirmation is still pending, fulfilment isn't guaranteed yet.

In cases where a confirmed booking cannot be fulfilled due to operational reasons, Medilista Private Limited will notify the user and process any applicable refund in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Payments

Payments made through the Helthcard platform are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. By completing a payment, you acknowledge that:

  • You've read the service terms and pricing before paying.
  • The charge is for a real, described healthcare service or platform fee — nothing else.
  • Payments run through a third-party gateway, so their terms apply on top of ours.

6. Limitation of Liability

We're a booking intermediary. Here's what that means for liability:

  • We're not responsible for clinical decisions, treatment outcomes, or the quality of care delivered by independent providers on the platform.
  • Ambulance delays or non-availability due to operational or geographic limits aren't our liability.
  • If something does go wrong and we're found liable, our exposure is capped at what you paid for that specific service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Helthcard name, logo, interface, and all content on this platform belong to Medilista Private Limited. Don't reproduce or redistribute any of it without permission.

8. Amendments to Terms

We can update these Terms when needed — to reflect changes in services, workflows, or legal requirements. We'll update the date at the top. Keep using Helthcard after that and you're accepting the new version.

9. Governing Law

Indian law governs these Terms. Any dispute that goes to court will be handled in Tinsukia, Assam.
